Book Reviews
Today we wrote book reviews to help get ready for Friday night and Concord's first Family Literacy Night. Students wrote a review on a book they are reading with their critique and recommendation.

Expert Fair
We had a great morning at the Expert Fair! The class did a great job teaching our visitors all about their research topics. Thank you to everyone who took some time out of your morning to visit!

Volleyball
Today we had our staff vs. student volleyball game. The fourth grade team had three students from our class! Ryan was also the scorekeeper for 9 games!

Publishing
We are busy getting ready for Thursday's Expert Fair. Students are publishing their writing, making posters, and writing presentations. They are turning out great!

Mark Twains and Math
Fourth and fifth graders are encouraged each year to read the books nominated for the Mark Twain award. We had 5 students attend a lunch today to reward them for reading 8 books. They also were able to vote for their favorite. In math we learned about different ways to measure weight. We worked on converting these measurements as well.

Social Studies Review
We had a game of Grudgeball for our chapter 6 social studies review. The class had so much fun they kept playing waiting for dismissal today.

Math Workshop
Today we started a new round of math stations. This week we are reviewing multiplication/division, finding volume, patterns and money, and a combination review with ALEKS.
