Quadrilaterals in Math 🔶◼️🔷◻️

In math we are comparing the different types of quadrilaterals. We have learned about rectangles, squares, parallelograms, trapezoids, and the rhombus.

We finished up a fun social studies activity. Students were in groups of patriots, loyalists, and undecided.  Eventually all of our undecided ended up on a side.

Setting Goals and Protractor Practice

Today we met with our first grade buddies and worked on setting goals. On the kite students wrote their goals. On the tail they wrote out the steps to obtain that goal.

We also started to work with protractors in math. Today we learned to use a protractor to measure angles. Tomorrow we will try to draw an angle using a protractor.
