Meeting First Grade Buddies

Today we met our first grade buddies in Mrs. Boyd's class.  The class had a lot of fun meeting their new buddies and they worked hard together making cards for firefighters.  We will give these to local firefighters on September 11.
We have also had an AWESOME August getting to know each other so the class had a small reward party with an extra recess this afternoon.  Enjoy your three day weekend and stay dry!

Erosion and Weathering Walk

We had a very fun time walking around the school today looking for signs of weathering and erosion!  Ask your fourth grader what they found around Concord!
Thanks to everyone that came to Curriculum Night last night!  It as great to see so many parents!  Our Scholastic book orders are due tomorrow.

In science we made sedimentary and metamorphic rocks with clay today!  Check out the photos on our Facebook page!
The first book orders of the year are coming home today as well.

First Day!

We had a great first day!  Tomorrow is Concord Spirit Day so wear your green and gold!  It is also a Domino's pizza day at lunch.
