Egg Drop and Measuring Speed 🍳
We had two fun activities today. In science we created mini helicopters and participated in trials measuring their speed dropping them from a height of 2 meters. Our balloon pop today was participating in an egg drop. We had two eggs survive from our class which is actually very good! We popped tomorrow’s balloon before we left today. Tomorrow will be a hat day and students can wear their hats on our field trip.

4th Grade is Picture Perfect! 📸
Today as a class we made a big timeline of our year. It is fun to look back at all the pictures. Especially those August and September pics. They sure have grown!
Stuffed Animals and Ramp Builders
Fourth graders sure love their stuffed animals! Today our balloon pop was stuffed animal day and we had some cute ones. We also spent some time in science building ramps using different types of materials to create friction. Tomorrow we will test out these ramps using cars.

Balloon Poppin’ Fun & Tesselations 🎈
Can you tell they are excited? We have started our countdown to the end of school. Tomorrow’s balloon we actually popped today so they could bring in their items. We are having a board game party! We are also working hard with a fun geometry project in which the students are making tesselations. It is harder than it looks!
