Making a Gingerbread Plan

Today the class made a plan for their gingerbread house. They had to sketch a design and decide what supplies they will need to create their house. We then started a free writing activity creating a story around the house. Stay tuned for some pretty cool houses later this week!

Sharing Writing and Presenting

On Friday students had the chance to read all of the wonderful persuasive essays they all worked on for the past few weeks. They also could present their website, see saw, or poster to the class. I was very impressed with their research and their presentations!

I have to share our family’s latest member. Very exciting weekend at our house!

Hurricane Projects and PEMDAS

Today we started to work on presentations that students will share with the class to wrap up our hurricane unit. Some students are making websites, others posters, and even See Saw. They will present tomorrow with their essays.

Thank goodness for this crew!

Here is a visual we are using in class to help with order of operations.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁

We had a fun day before Thanksgiving Break. Check your child’s Seesaw account for a thankful turkey they made. We also had a dramatic reading of Robbie and the Thanksgiving Spirit (a Christmas Carol Thanksgiving style). Finally we had an all school assembly honoring Grandpa Steve and all of the wonderful things he does for our school.
