Reviewing Math Skills

We are working in teams practicing performance event questions. This has been a fun way to review and students are using all of their math skills to work out the problems.

Dr. Stryjewski asked all kids to write down today why our school is so special. As you can see they were excited to do that!

Cardinals, Buddies, and Read a Thon

What a fun day!  We had a great assembly with the Cardinals to start off our day.  Lainie even won the essay contest or fourth grade!  Our buddies also came to visit and brought some good luck bags for the upcoming MAP test. We then had a short dance party/brain break. We ended the day with a Read a Thon. We had quite a crowd in here!

Perimeter

Today we learned about perimeter. Perimeter is the distance around a figure. So today we measured different objects around the school for perimeter. 

Door Decorating Fun

We have had a lot of fun this week with the door decorating contest!  The class worked very well together brainstorming ideas and everyone had a part in decorating. They are so proud of their hard work!  We also started the banner for our Cardinals Assembly next week.
