Today we practiced oral reading with a reader's theater of Robbie and the Thanksgiving Spirit. This is a version of the favorite story A Christmas Carol with a Thanksgiving Twist. This class had great expression and kept going even with the interruption of the phone ringing and people walking in our room. Now that is talent!

Today we tried to make series circuits in class and succeeded! Attempts at parallel circuits were a bit challenging so we will attempt again. We had a lot of great teamwork in science today!

Final day of Lewis and Clark
Today we wrapped up our studies of Lewis and Clark with some popcorn similar to the corn the Native Americans grew, avocado which tastes like a cactus, and some goldfish crackers like the fish the Corps of Discovery ate. We also played a little Lewis and Clark bingo and wrote on birch bark.

Lewis and Clark
Today former Truman teacher, Marge Jardon, came to teach us about Lewis and Clark. Mrs. Jardon is an expert on this topic and will be presenting all week. Today we learned about the Native Americans along their journey and especially Sacajawea.
