Buddies!

Today we met with our new buddies from Mrs. Boyd's first grade. We are going to have a great year together!

Building up stamina!

In both reading and writing students are building their stamina this week. After a long, fun summer it can be difficult getting back into the routine of school. Each day we are adding more time to read and write. The class is doing great and begging for more time!

Math!!!

After our math lesson today we practiced some of the games we will use later in the year for math workshop. The class worked hard and had fun!

Getting Crafty!

Today we are spending some time decorating our Writer's Notebooks. The class is doing a great job personalizing their notebooks and it has been so much fun walking around looking at them. You really get an idea of what they love by looking at their notebooks and hopefully it will inspire them to write!

First Day!

What a great day!  It was such a fun day day getting to know these fantastic fourth graders!  It is going to be a great year!
