Lewis and Clark

Today Mrs. Jardon came in to teach us about Lewis and Clark. She will return later this week to continue the lessons. It was great!

Force and Motion

Today students participated in an experiment to test how fast toy cars would move down ramps and different surfaces. Ask your fourth grader what moved farther/faster! Tomorrow we will add weight to each car and are what happens then.

This week we have started something called BOGGLE. Boggle is game where you have certain letters and you see how many words you can make with all of those letters. This week we have the letters r, u, r, f, s, t, n, t, h, d, o, e, a, e, y, and m. This is our jump rope for heart team poster, Kristin, Gigi, Eileen, Jewel, and me are in the Poppin' Peanuts! This is the read-a-loud we are reading. It's called "The City of Ember". It's about these people who live underground but they don't know it, and they are looking for away to get out.
