Good reads with our buds
On Early Release days we plan on getting together with our first grade buddies in Mrs. Boyd's class. Today we met to read some good books and got to know each other answering some questions using the clickers.

Focusing/Calming Techniques
We were so lucky to have Tyler's mom come and teach the class techniques today for staying calm and focused. She even left a diffuser in the room with some calming oil! The class was very engaged and make sure to ask them what they learned!

Reading
We spent our reading time today practicing three parts of the Daily 5. Reading to self, reading with a partner, and listening to reading. The students were able to choose which part they wanted to do.
